It is key that we work closely with others within the agricultural sector to provide the best available information and advice possible to our clients. Constant changes to agricultural law and policy, mean that keeping up with developments is vitally important. We often work in conjunction with other key industry stakeholders to achieve the best results for our clients.
Our industry connections are therefore essential. All fee earners are members of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA) which is a rural professional organisation designed to unite those who specialise in agricultural law and practice. The ALA is also a member organisation of the Comite de Droite European (CEDR) which has a biennial conference in the Autumn. Dr Nerys Llewelyn Jones is the ALA's Alternate Delegate to the CEDR and she gave a paper at the Congress in 2007 which was held in Caserta, Italy outlining the Common Agricultural Policy and its implementation in Wales. She also attended the 2009 Congress which was held in Cambridge and the 2011 Congress in Bucharest, Romania.
