With the 15th of May deadline for all Single Application Forms (SAFs) behind us Agri Advisor Solicitors CAP Doctor service takes time to reflect on this busy and vital time of the year for farmers and landowners.
During the lead up to the deadline the dedicated CAP Doctor team worked their way through nearly a 150 cases in relation to the Common Agricultural Policy.
The CAP Doctor services is far more than assisting with the application forms and the team worked through tasks including preparing supplementary documents, assisting agents with resolving issues, National Reserve applications, transferring historical entitlements, preparing tenancy and grazing agreements to name a few.
The ethos and purpose of the CAP Doctor service is to offer a complete service to farmers and landowners and resolve any issues that arise through the scheme processes.
Nerys Llewelyn Jones Head of Agri Advisor stated “The last month has probably been the busiest we have ever seen at Agri Advisor. Our dedicated CAP Doctor team have worked extremely hard to ensure clients have had the necessary advice and documentation in place by the 15th May 2015 deadline.”
“It has been difficult to decipher and interpret the guidance provided by Welsh Government at times and we now look forward to receiving confirmation from Welsh Government that applications have been verified and an indication as to when payments will be made and their value further to the outcome of the Consultation.”
It is now vital that all applicants check through their submitted forms carefully as there is a small window until the 1st of June 2015 to make any changes without incurring a penalty.
