Agri Advisor Committed to Supporting The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution

Agri Advisor are pleased to announce that The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I) have been chosen as their charity of the year for 2018.

The staff and Partners at Agri Advisor were in favor of supporting a charity that, like them, supported farming families living rurally.

Nerys Llewelyn Jones, Agri Advisor’s Managing Partner, said “We are very pleased to offer our support to R.A.B.I who do such excellent work in supporting farming families in times of need. We have always had close ties with R.A.B.I and their officers and are looking forward to build on those relationships this year with various fundraising events scheduled for 2018. It is good to know that every penny we raise will go directly to support farming people suffering hardship.”

Founded in 1860, R.A.B.I is a national charity supporting farmers, farm managers, agricultural workers and their dependants throughout England and Wales.  It is a welfare charity offering financial and emotional support to farming people suffering hardship, whatever their age. Each year, R.A.B.I gives out around £2 million in grants and helps approximately 2,000 individuals and families with most of their income raised through fundraising events, donations from individuals, businesses, community groups and their volunteer county committees.

Linda Jones, R.A.B.I Regional Manager for Wales, said “We are extremely grateful to Agri Advisor for choosing R.A.B.I as their charity of the year. We very much appreciate their support, not only in helping us to fundraise, but also, crucially, in helping us to raise awareness of our work and the help we’re able to provide to the farming community.  Agri Advisor has been the main sponsor for our Henlle Golf Challenge since 2016 and it is wonderful news that they have opted to increase their level of support towards our work.”

Any donations to support Agri Advisor’s fundraising would be very gratefully received and their first fundraising event will be a farmhouse breakfast open to all and held on Friday the 20th of April at their head office, Llys y Llan near Pumsaint.
