Hannah, who is based in our Welshpool office, represented Agri Advisor at the highest point in Wales with various fibreglass farm animals at the beginning of May.
Hannah joined over 70 people to carry an entire fibreglass farm 4.5 miles up to Snowdon’s peak in order to raise funds for R.A.B.I and the DPJ Foundation. The challenge was organised by educational farming group Cows on Tour ahead of their week-long ‘roadshow’ around Wales.
Hannah and the group completed the hike up the mountain’s Llanberis trail in 3 hours and 20 minutes, carrying a 90kg model dairy cow along wise a life-size model pig, sheep and lamb. Members of the group took it in turns carrying Bessie, the model cow and the other farm animals.
Hannah said; ‘It was a fantastic experience and a different way of raising money for two worthwhile charities. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and it was great to meet other people whilst representing Agri Advisor’.
