It is key that we work closely with others within the agricultural sector to provide the best available information and advice possible to our clients. Constant changes to agricultural law and policy, mean that keeping up with developments is vitally important. We often work in conjunction with other key industry stakeholders to achieve the best results for our clients.

Our industry connections are therefore essential. All fee earners are members of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA) which is a rural professional organisation designed to unite those who specialise in agricultural law and practice. Dr Nerys Llewelyn Jones has been a Fellow of ALA since 2009, one of the first to gain that accreditation in Wales. Nerys also sits on the ALA's Council and Education Committee.

The ALA is also a member organisation of the Comite de Droite European (CEDR) which has a biennial conference in the Autumn. Dr Nerys Llewelyn Jones is the ALA's Alternate Delegate to the CEDR and she gave a paper at the Congress in 2007 which was held in Caserta, Italy outlining the Common Agricultural Policy and its implementation in Wales. She also attended the 2009 Congress which was held in Cambridge and the 2011 Congress in Bucharest, Romania. In 2013, Nerys gave the report to Commission III at the Congress in Luzerne, Switzerland and was joined there by Rhodri Jones and Erica Williams who had both obtained scholarships to attend.

Nerys Llewelyn Jones is a Tenant Farmers' Association (TFA) Recommended Professional, appointed to the panel in 2011.The TFA provides valuable advice and support to tenant farmers. For information on how to become a member visit their website at
