Are you interested in joining our company which has been ranked as one of the best in the UK for the last 2 years?  Located in our busy office in Newcastle Emlyn, we are looking for someone to join our team on a permanent basis working as a Secretary / Admin Assistant.

This role involves working within an incredibly interesting area of law and would give you exposure to some really challenging, insightful and rewarding work.

This opportunity could suit someone with previous experience of working within a law firm but could also be a good opportunity for someone who has gained some level of previous admin / office experience and wants to take their career to the next level.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing administrative support to solicitors and legal executives.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including letters, contracts, and court forms.
  • Managing and organizing legal correspondence, case files, and documentation.
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
  • Communicating with clients and other parties to gather information or provide updates.
  • Managing incoming calls and inquiries, providing a professional and helpful response.
  • Handling general office duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Requisite skills:

  • Excellent typing and word processing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • A positive attitude and be a team player.

The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage.

Excellent on the job training will be provided.

This is a permanent full-time position, but we would consider job-share applications as well.
