Daniel Scrase

Daniel joined Agri Advisor after a career in mental health and wellbeing, including roles with Samaritans, Cruse Bereavement Support, and Royal Voluntary Service. He graduated in Psychology with Clinical and Health Psychology from Bangor University in 2012. In 2024, he completed an LLM in Law & Legal Practice (Merit) with BPP University. Daniel has passed SQE1 and is working towards SQE2.
Previously, Daniel trained with BPP’s Social Impact team, where he secured significant outcomes for clients – in the County Court and Social Security Tribunal. His voluntary work earned him Highly Commended in the “Best Contribution by an Individual” category at the 2023 LawWorks & Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards, and he was a member of the team recognised for “Best Contribution by an In-house Team or an In-house Solicitor” at the 2025 LawWorks Awards.
Rooted in farming – his maternal grandparents farmed coffee in Zambia and his father and two of his brothers are members of Tyddyn Teg, a cooperative farm in Gwynedd – Daniel has a strong interest in environmental law, sustainable agriculture, and the responsible use of AI in legal practice. He is Convenor of the UK Environmental Law Association Wales Group and Trustee for North Wales Community Law. Outside work he enjoys weightlifting, meditation and gaming.
