National Apprenticeship Week

  • Posted

This week is National Apprenticeship Week (7th – 13th February) and here at Agri Advisor we are always on the lookout for new talent, who are eager to learn and improve their skills.

Apprenticeship Week highlights the work being done across the whole apprenticeship community to promote apprenticeships and the positive impact they are having throughout Wales.

Nicole Bishop is one of our apprentices who is working towards an NVQ L3 in Business and Administration.

“I have found aspects of my apprenticeship really enjoyable, as it has encouraged me to improve my skills. Having never worked in an office-based environment previously, I can say that taking on this apprenticeship has certainly improved my knowledge and my confidence, as I am able to be hands-on working as I learn.

I am still continuously learning something new, whilst working my way towards a qualification. Since joining Agri Advisor, I have found there to be more to the role of an administrative assistant than I had previously thought and have felt supported throughout my learning. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about becoming an apprentice to go for it, as it is a brilliant experience!”
