Sophie Walker

Sophie joined Agri Advisor in June 2023 as an Associate and member of the Dispute Resolution team.

Sophie qualified in 2013 but has worked in the legal profession for over 24 years in both fee earning and business development roles. Her specialist area of expertise is Civil Litigation and she deals with a broad spectrum of contentious matters to include disputes relating to land and property, contract and debt matters and partnership disputes. Sophie has strong business development skills and actively enjoys meeting and engaging with new clients and contacts.

Sophie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and has been an active member of CILEX since starting her career in law. Sophie was instrumental in establishing the regional Shropshire & Mid-Wales branch where, over a period of 10 years, she held various positions including Group Secretary and Treasurer before taking over the lead role as Branch Chairperson.

Sophie was raised over the border in Shropshire on her own family farm rearing pigs. Sophie moved to Wales over 10 years ago and lives in Montgomeryshire where she farms sheep in conjunction with her husband. Sophie has two young daughters who particularly enjoy the lambing season. Sophie is also learning Welsh.
